Salisbury House Des Moines wedding – Lindsay & Karl

Milwaukee, NYC, Malaga – Spain, NYC, Milwaukee and now back home. That’s how the past two weeks looked like. Did a lot of traveling and now I’m trying to get caught up with work and blogging I think this is a good start.

Lindsay and Karl choose two fantastic venues for their wedding in Des Moines. The ceremony was at Salisbury House and the reception at Simpson Barn.

Emily & Josh | wedding in Waterloo, Iowa

I’ve been doing quite a bit of traveling lately and a lot more traveling lies ahead in the next month. Waterloo, Des Moines, Okoboji and Chicago are a few of the places I’ve shot this month and I can’t wait to share some amazing weddings and engagement sessions on the blog.

Here are a few favorites from Emily and Josh’s wedding in Waterloo, Iowa at Sacred Heart Parish. Beautiful couple and a beautiful day filled with so much emotion.

What a beautiful day I got to spend together with Jenny and Sam. They chose The Grand River Center, overlooking the river for the ceremony and Hotel Julien for their ballroom reception.

Coralville Mariott wedding – Ruth & Marshall

Ruth and Marshall had an intimate wedding, surrounded by their good friends. It was so heartwarming to see the joy and love they received from family and friends.

We started the day at Zender’s Salon in Iowa City where the bride and bridesmaids got their hair done then headed to the Mariott in Coralville for the ceremony and reception.
