What a fun wedding this was! If the venue didn’t have to close at 2:30 am I am sure the party would have lasted well into the morning.
I am glad that I got to be there to document their day. They made me feel like family and I can’t thank them enough.

Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of documenting the beautiful wedding of Lauren and Mike. The wedding took place
at The Oaks Lodge, on the shore of Chippewa Lake, near Cleveland.
I am so grateful that they choose me to document their day. It was very moving to see how deeply in love they are. It was like a reminder of why I love weddings so much.
They had lip shaped whistles to blow instead of clinking glasses, board games for the guests, Guitar Hero, lots of dinosaurs, robots, and giraffes.

It fills me with joy to have wonderful couples make me part of their lives and trust me to document one of the most important days – their wedding. I like to get to know my clients and these is why my engagement sessions are not typical. I love spending at least half a day with my couples. We take a lot of pictures, we talk about our lives, we go to lunch or dinner together. They will get to know me better and they will feel more comfortable in front of the camera when their wedding comes.
Lauren & Mike know how to make the best out of everything. The weather forecast did not look very well
for the day we scheduled the engagement session. There were very high chances of rain, and the morning looked gloomy.
But something magical happened and their joy made the sun smile for the rest of the day. And I think their engagement session shows that when you smile, the sun smiles back to you! Enjoy the pictures!
